Ferrari of Houston opened one of the very first Factory Authorized Body Shops in America in 2002. The body shop, built specifically to meet the needs of Ferrari, Maserati, and other high performance car owners, can handle every type of body repair, from complete restoration to re-spraying a bumper or taking out a dent. All work is carried about by Factory trained technicians, using the same tools and equipment that are used at the factory: Carbench frame machines, Accu-Draft negative air pressure paint booths, PPG computerized paint mixing systems, and TIA Mig alloy welding equipment.
The Body Shop even has the capability to custom build (or repair) fiberglass, Kevlar, and carbon fiber body parts and accessories in our own composites workshop.
One more important point: the Body Shop was designed and equipped to meet the needs of the next generation of Ferraris, cars that will primarily be constructed from aluminum, carbon fiber and composites, while maintaining the ability to work on the steel body and frames of vintage automobiles.
Steve Egyed, the body Shop manager, has more than 30 years of experience working on Ferrari and other high end automobiles; you can trust both his experience and his eyes.
